- CHCarl Hartt2 days ago3.0Why the Portillo hype? I still don't understand why. They have only ok sandwiches. And their "to die for" chocolate cake is sub-par. There are better choc cakes at other national chains (eg Cheese Cake Factory and PF Changs).
- KSKelly SApr 19, 20265.0We stopped on our way back to Wisconsin. We just had to try the famous chocolate cake shake that we heard about from Fluffy's (Gabriel Iglesias) show. We also got a chili cheese dog. We enjoyed our food along with the atmosphere. The decor is beautiful and very interesting. We would definitely consider revisiting!

The drive thru kid was explaining to the car next to us that everyone was new and noone was being trained. My husband went in and the manager Tanesha told him, "It's been refunded." Maam-we paid cash. So, that was cute. The car next to us had also had significant wait, realized something was missing...he was told to go BACK THRU THE DRIVE THRU to which he asked the drive thru kid to tell the manager to 'take care of herself." It's been the last 3 times. Learned our lesson.
