    Do NOT waste your time at this Dairy Queen. The drive-thru service is absolutely horrible. The woman on the microphone was openly sarcastic, rude, and showed no respect for the customer. This happened five days before Christmas, when I was prepared to place an order over $100, and her attitude alone made me drive away without ordering anything. Customer service here is completely nonexistent. No courtesy, no professionalism, no basic respect. If this is how customers are treated—especially during the holidays—this location should not be open. Management clearly does not care how customers are spoken to. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being disrespected while trying to spend your money.

    Dairy Queen – 73rd & Taft, Merrillville I knew I shouldn’t have stopped here, but I had a craving for a Peanut Buster Parfait and didn’t feel like driving any farther. While watching the employee make my parfait, the machine started acting up — she had to stop midway through, leaving it half ice cream and half fudge, and spend about 3–5 minutes fixing it. Once she got it working again, instead of starting over, she just continued with the same cup — even though the ice cream had completely melted and looked more like a chocolate shake. Then she just added some new ice cream on top and handed it to me. I told her, absolutely not, it needed to be remade. She did make another one, but honestly, I’m just surprised she thought that was acceptable to serve in the first place. Customer service definitely missed the mark here. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
