  After checking the website hours on 2/27 we made our way to Mr.Gatti's, we arrived about 8:10pm. We paid and the cashier never mentioned that the buffet closes at 8:30pm. At about 8:15ish the waitress puts her 2 plates of food down on a table near us I'm assuming she is going on break and looks at me with a dirty look and starts running her mouth about something clearly upset from her facial expression and when I go to say something she turns around walking towards the back still talking about something she is upset about, again I can't understand her, I honestly thought she was under the influence by the way she was acting. About 8:26pm the watress comes tapping on my husband's shoulder (not a gentle tap) made us think there was an emergency the way she was touching my husband and in a extremely angry tone says that we need to hurry up because they close in 4 mins , turns around and is still talking in a angry tone while walking away but we couldn't understand her she was so upset. The watress could of explained this a million different ways and she chose the rudest way. We left our full plates of food on the table went up to the register area and a female cashier approaches us and she is also very angry and points to a sign under their phone that doesn't even face the customers and says "OUR HOURS ARE POSTED" and she walks away. Absolutely mind blown how they handled this situation. They made a simple situation that could of been explained nicely a very awful experience because the way they chose to handle it. Food was good, the 3 bites we had, but never again will I spend my money at the Gattis in Martinsville.

  Haven't been to a Mr. Gattis for years. It was a little disappointing. The pizza on the buffet was dry and no freash on the bar when we first got there. They finally put 2 freash after we were there for awhile. The salad bar was decent. The ice cream machine is broken. It has a lot of potential but just didnt hit the mark.

  On here it says open till 10, every night. Well, I get there last night at 8:35 and there's a sign on the door that says closed at eight thirty for winter hours. Something like that should be updated on the google site. So that your customers will know what your current hours are. The 30 minute drive down from Mooresville was pleasant though.

  Food was great, wish there where more to choose from, table service was a lil slower but ok! the rude loud company they keep here is not good for business been here an hour with 2 women loudly talking trash about everyone in this place along with teens making puking sounds 6.5 out of 10 overall
