  “This is the weirdest shit I’ve ever experienced.” That’s what the manager said to me near the end of our interaction, including some choice curse words when I was calm & decorous. I ordered a sandwich in the drive thru, it was rung up & charged wrong. My mistake not checking the receipt after the employee had repeated back my order. Got home, found it wrong, checked receipt and it was rung up wrong. That’s 2/2 times in a month that my order was wrong, so I just want a refund. Go in, say to the teen boy that I want a refund bc the sandwich was wrong & run up wrong. Manager was next to him, takes over the interaction saying they don’t do refunds - can either remake the sandwich or fill out a form for corporate. When I worked in fast food up to 2020, our store managers could do refunds. So I ask if it’s possible to see the policy or in writing. She actually scoffed at me and asked why it’d be in writing. Says when they tell her to do something, she does it. I try to reply that policies are usually in writing for cases like this, but she cuts me off cuz I started with “even in my job in another area.” I ask if I can finish what I was saying, get scoffed at again and now she turns her back to me. Okay. The entire time, she’s come off as defensive, my flat affect isn’t helping. Let’s just do the form and separate. I’ve mentally checked out atp, can only handle perceived disrespect for so long. Guess my no-longer-engaging just annoyed her further. Ignored her quips. Asked if I could get a copy of the form or take a picture. Then she says the quote at the top as I’m looking at the paper, so I look her in the eyes and reply “I’m sorry my autism is the weirdest shit you’ve experienced.” Oh! Not 3 minutes later while I sit out in my car, OTP with a friend bc I’m having a meltdown & need to calm before driving, she follows me out to my car & tries calling me. Great de-escalation methods you’re teaching your employees.

  I came by the other day in a server by the name of Grant greeted me warmly and with a positive attitude I ordered a Black Forest ham Foot-long with extra mayonnaise, extra yellow peppers and extra jalapeños he was very kind. He hooked me up with a sub and overall he was a great guy would come again.

  I don't make a habit of reviewing chains, and I stopped giving bad reviews. I only take the time to post if food and/or service are above and beyond. Subway is crazy-expensive. That's not the fault of anyone in the store. I went in the store, ordered 3 sandwiches, and received the order as expected. What was different today was the friendliness of the employees. They chatted, smiled, and were generally courteous. That is rare lately. The food was as one would expect at Subway- no issues with what I ordered.
