- WBWilliam BoswellDec 11, 20251.0I was out holiday shopping in the strip mall that this skyline is apart of. I've never tried skyline chili and thought it sounded good on a cold winter evening. I stepped inside the restaurant and went to head to the restroom to relieve myself before having dinner when a middle aged white haired lady behind the counter said loudly, “is this for here or to go?”. I politely stated I was heading to the restroom and she replied rudely with, “IT'S FOR CUSTOMERS ONLY!”. I was pretty taken aback and asked her if there was anywhere nearby she knew of that I could use the restroom and she replied with a short no that resonated with annoyance. The experience left me feeling offended. I feel I was treated inhumane. I was excited to try skyline chili but I refuse to spend my money where I feel I was degraded. This woman should learn more about the service industry or be terminated for her outbursts.

I rarely eat out, but I expect a modern restaurant to have beer. I even checked with Google if Skyline servered it. While the chili is good with a Greek twist, it wasn't going to win a competition. The layout of the store is similar to a sub shop, and there was only 1 other customer. The restaurant felt static, generic, and while nicely color coordinated, it just felt plain. Think "nice truckstop" vibe. This was my first and only time going. I won't be back again.
