  Samara was so friendly and helpful with suggestions of her favorite selections on the big menu. Our party of 4 enjoyed the Smothered pork chops, Meatloaf, and Seafood combo of shrimp & catfish. We ordered several sides which were all delicious. We wrapped up our meal with desserts to go. The Peach Cobbler ♥️ We will definitely go back.

  Very disappointing experience….. This place was recommended by a few people I’m working with. We are on a work trip.Me and five coworkers went here on our lunch break. We got there a couple minutes after noon. When we first pulled up we thought they were closed because there was no cars in the parking lot no cars outside. When we walked in the door there was one table with people eating . I told the hostess that we were on lunch just to give her a heads up. We had an hour. She said that was fine everything was freshly cooked, but it shouldn’t be a problem. We were immediately sat our waitress, took our drink order. We had five sweet teas and one water. She came back with our drinks and took our order that was the last time that she checked on us she never brought us the first refill on our drinks or gave us any updates on our food or anything.Over the next hour six or seven tables filled up everyone around us, had their drinks topped off extra drinks sitting there before they could finish their other drink. They had their food and were pretty much done eating. We still have not got our first plate so at five till one we were late back to work we told them we needed everything in to go boxes then ten after one we still did not have our food. We put $22 on the table for our drinks because we did not know how much they were and we left. The last two people got stopped and told they needed to pay for the food that we did not receive and the drinks. Come to find out our drinks were 5.99 apiece So they went ahead and gave them another $20 so for five glasses of sweet tea we paid $42 and never received our food so absolutely do not go there. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

  One of the best soul food restaurant I've ever been to and the oxtail are so good. You'll mess around and bite your fingers 😂😂😂 ....everything was great and the half and half lemonade and tea is a must try we, call it Arnold Palmer but it's so good. Great customer service and atmosphere is so peaceful...10 out of 10

  We sat down and waited 30 min for a cup of coffee, with 0 refill offers, then proceeded to wait an hour and half for food that was undercooked. Our breakfast sausage smelled spoiled and we ended up getting sick from this breakfast. The ambiance felt very uncomfortable, due to the attitude of the service, needless to say, do not recommend.

  I pre-ordered my food on their website, but when I arrived, nothing was ready. I ended up waiting 30 minutes past my scheduled pickup time. Once I finally received my order, half of the food was cold. The burger had every topping I specifically asked to have removed. The mac and cheese was oddly sweet, the collard greens and okra were flavorless, and the okra just tasted like oil. Even the yams lacked flavor. I drove two hours to try this place, and unfortunately, it was absolutely not worth the trip. The staff was kind, but overall, this experience was incredibly disappointing. I will not be returning.
