The food is right proportions. It comes hot fresh. You can actually taste the garlic in the mashed potatoes. You can actually taste the nutmeg in the sweet potatoes. There’s a lot of love all up in the kitchen. Thanks for Kountry kitchen.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 The catfish is one of my go to’s the collard greens are awesome. I can go on and on.💫 And of course, the peach cobbler is excellent.

As always, we love a good restaurant and today was no different. We decided to have breakfast at Kountry Kitchen. I have to say, the service started out a little slow and not so friendly but she got better. The food was really good! From the Peach Bellini to my Chicken and Waffle platter to his Oxtail Hash. It was all good. We’ll be back for dinner and a little football soon.

When I tell you the food, service and atmosphere was 5star…5star it is‼️ We were in town for a church event and came across the restaurant and it was worth it all. Fresh food and great customer service and the owner came to greet us. I’ll drive 2.5 hours just to dine in again. Thank you for the experience Kountry Kitchen 💯❤️ It was a busy Sunday and I ordered extra food.

Worst customer service i ever experienced here. I already ordered my meal online which led me to the specific address to pick up my meal. The entire payment already went through but they wouldn't give me a specific reason why the couldn't have the main dish prepared. I didn't have time to give a debate on the topic so i just asked for a simple refund. Weeks later i never received the transaction from my refund. Unprofessional and prejudice. I will never eat here again despite Kountry Kitchen having respectable food. Im sure if i perfect my own soul food recipe over a thousand times i could get the satisfaction i wanted without getting ripped off. Or go to my grandmother and have her hook it up with love like the good old days.

I placed an online order and scheduled it for pickup at 1:30 PM. I arrived at 1:27 and noticed that the hostess desk was unoccupied. After a few minutes, a host came over, and I gave her my name. She went to the back and was gone for about 9 minutes before returning to say my order would take an additional 15 minutes. The restaurant wasn’t even busy at the time. I went to sit in my car and came back after 15 minutes, only to be told they were just then bagging up my order. When I finally received my food, I asked for hot sauce (which they provided), and took my order to go. Now, about the food: The “pancakes” on the website should be listed as “pancake” (singular). It says pancakes plural, so I assumed I’d get at least two — but it was just one pancake for $10. The cup of fruit was mostly blueberries, one strawberry cut in half, and 2 small grapes — not worth $5. The chicken dinner was the best part. I received four fried wings with greens and macaroni and cheese. The greens were okay but under-seasoned — not one onion in sight. The mac and cheese was the biggest disappointment. It tasted like plain macaroni noodles with Velveeta poured on top — definitely not baked or made with real cheese. There was no silverware, no butter for the cornbread, and no attention to detail. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the fried chicken and cornbread were both very good, and my son enjoyed the pancake. Before leaving, I checked other reviews and noticed many people have complained about the same issues — slow service and poor attitudes from the staff. The fact that these reviews go back months (or longer) and nothing has changed says a lot. Great food might make people overlook bad service, but when both are just average, customers won’t come back. I really wanted to like this place, but it’s clear that customer service isn’t a priority — and until that changes, I won’t be returning.
