If I could give zero stars, I would. We made reservations for a conference weeks ago. We were called today and told they were overbooked leaving us scrambling with students to find dinner tonight. There was no apology and no real offered solutions. Choose another option if you are able.

Buca has the atmosphere of an old family Italian restaurant and the expectation of authentic a Italian food but the meal we had lacking. The spaghetti with meat sauce and Caesar salad were curiously lacking in flavor. They left a sense of being unfinished, as though seasoning or ingredients were missing or insufficient. The spaghetti sauce lacked savory-ness, being too strongly tomato with too little meatiness. And the Caesar salad seemed satisfied to meet the minimum definitions, but lacked any sense of anchovy or pepperiness, and had sprinkles of grated Parmesan rather than more satisfying shaved flakes.
The overall sense was of recipes compromised by cost saving reductions in the amount and quality of ingredients. It was not worthy of the atmosphere or service quality. Perhaps it is the result of uninformed customers expecting too little and used to mediocre chain or even school cafeteria Italian-looking food.

We visited this Buca di Beppo location to celebrate a birthday because we’ve always had great experiences at the Castleton restaurant, but unfortunately this downtown location was very different — and not in a good way.
The overall cleanliness was disappointing. The floors, kitchen area, and bathrooms didn’t look well maintained, and even the ceiling fans had visible layers of dust. It set a bad tone right from the beginning.
We ordered the fried calamari, and it had almost no flavor. It tasted mostly like oil, which was surprising considering how good the food usually is at the Castleton location.
Overall, this was not a good dining experience. We really missed the quality and atmosphere we’re used to in Castleton. I hope this location can make some improvements, because we love the brand — just not this visit.

I'd love to give all 5 stars but we didn't get waited on after being seated for our reservation. Nobody ever came back to ask us for drinks or apps or anything. We sat and waited, and waited and waited, and they weren't that busy. Finally, we ordered from their website and the food came right out and we took it back to our suite and devoured it. The food is amazing. Honestly, they were the ones that lost out on another 50 to 75 dollars we would have spent on drinks and tip. The meatballs are to die for, as well as the lasagna. Anyway, I'd still recommend and will most likely go back again when we're in town.

Buca is going down hill, I couldn't find parking on the street so I paid in the garage next door for $15. When I exited with the family it took me to the alley on the side where homeless were blocking the door, we attempted to find another exit but there wasn't any. When we entered my lady almost fell on a giant glob of tomatoe sauce that was dropped on the floor by someone, after we cleaned her heels, we waited on alcohol beverages and a fettuccine for me that never came until I asked about it again once everyone was done eating, the calmari was flavorless and prices are too high for experience overall, the pizza came in one size and the 3 petite children ages 3 and 6 devoured it themselves just go next door for Giordanos!!!
