Shitty restaurant with low quality food. They’re on Uber Eats trying to claim they’re offering by one get one. They aren’t. They hiked the price of their entree by 100% and are pretending people are getting a deal. Get this trash box out of business. How shady.

Great experience at Indiana Buffet! Delicious food, especially the chicken, desserts, and masala tea. My friends and I loved everything. Wonderful service too. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine!

I ordered from Amber Indian yesterday through DoorDash (listed under the Carmel location but picked up from the Castleton address). My order included two chicken kormas, rice, garlic and plain naan, and vegetable samosas. Although the delivery took longer than expected, I was willing to overlook that since I usually enjoy the food. However, when my mom cut into one of the samosas, we thought there was a roach inside. It was horrifying and completely unacceptable—we immediately felt sick and couldn’t eat any of the food afterward. Later, I learned it wasn’t a roach at all but a spice I was unfamiliar with (black cardamom). When I tried contacting both the Carmel and Castleton locations to report what happened and verify which one fulfilled the order, both denied having any record of it. The Carmel host argued with me and even laughed during the conversation, while the Castleton staff were equally dismissive—one employee even resorted to name-calling when I tried to explain the situation. Thankfully, the owner later reached out to clarify that the item in question was indeed black cardamom. He was kind, apologetic, and took responsibility for how poorly the situation was handled by his employees. I truly appreciated him taking the time to call and explain everything. That said, as I shared with him, customer service is everything. Regardless of the misunderstanding, the way the initial calls were handled was unprofessional and unacceptable. While I appreciate the owner’s sincerity and effort to make things right, this experience has still left me deeply disappointed and hesitant to order from either location again.
