Doordash customers? Ever wonder why drivers unassign from your order? It's because of stores like this. I'm a DD driver and this review is mostly for customers who use Doordash and DD drivers. This place is competely hit miss but more often than not it's a miss. Day is not too bad because the lobby is actually open and you can go in to pick up orders. Getting helped can still be tricky but at least you can actually ask them for help when you are in the store. Nights are a completely different story. They always act like they're completely overwhelmed at night. They're almost always really slow and often when you go in nobody will even acknowledge you're there and that's when the lobby is still open. But many times I'll go in, nobody will even acknowledge I'm there but people will be looking at their phones or folding boxes. You guys really can't acknowledge a customer or take a break from the boxes to hand a customer an order? I know Doordash drivers aren't the end customer but we're acting on behalf of the customer and it's our job to get the customer's order to them in a timely manner and when you guys ignore us it makes that job way more difficult than it needs to be. I'm not sure what time they close the lobby but it's pretty early for some reason, I don't know why they close the lobby but once the lobby is closed good luck getting your order. The drive thru's bell doesn't work and hasn't since I've been dashing, so when you pull up they don't even know you're there. I've gone there so many times and had to literally pound on the window just to get someone to help me and then they say "sorry, our bell doesn't work". OK? So can you fix it so you can know when customers pull up? I went there the other night and the when I got there the drive thru was backed up with 3 cars ahead of me and one pulled up behind me. We must have all been Doordash drivers because after sitting there for 10+minutes and not even moving I unassigned and left without my order and so did two other cars while I was sitting there. I try my best not to unassign from orders because I don't like leaving customers in a lurch but if I can't get their order I can't wait around all night. I honestly don't know how places like this stay in business or why they close their lobbies so early. I mean the store is technically open but if one car is at the drive thru window waiting for their order nobody else can get their order and cars will just sit there waiting whereas most places will ask cars to park of their orders are going to be a while so the cars behind them can get theirs. This place is probably second only to McDonald's as far as the number of orders I've unassigned from and it's mostly because half the time you can't get anyone to even help you or get your order. I go to 5-6 different Papa John's and only this one and the one on Southport Road close their lobbies like that. Why? It makes it hard to get orders in a timely manner. It's not like Greenwood is unsafe. Other restaurants around there have their lobbies open to at least 10PM and many are open later but for some reason PJ often closes theirs really early. I went there at 9PM the other day and the lobby was closed. If you guys (the PJ's staff/owners/management) don't want to take Doordash orders please don't. You're just wasting driver's and customer's time. I'd love to block stores like this but can only block 3 restaurants at a time so if I get an order from a place like this if I decline my acceptance rate goes down which affects my overall rating and affects how much money I can make and sometimes I get a good offer and I'll take the chance that I might actually be able to get my order, which again, is iffy at night. Drivers don't get paid to sit and wait in the drive thru for 10-20 minutes and it shouldn't be part of our job to have to pound on the drive thru window trying to get someone to help us. Anyway I gave 2 stars because during the day it's not completely hopeless but it's 1 star after they close the lobby.

Overall terrible experience. Was waiting at the drive through window for several minutes for my carryout. Had to walk in the get the pizza and all the employees were just texting. My pizza was severely undercooked and the cheese wasn’t even cooked.

Lately they are lacking. My last order was received very late and the pizza was almost burned. Then, I received an email with a 50% discount due to such late delivery and it didn't work. I've been a loyal customer, but I guess that I should take business somewhere else.

If I could give zero stars I would. Don’t even bother. Was told the lobby was closed when I got there. Waited an hour in the drive through. After being told my pizza wasn’t ready and I should go back through in a few minutes. My pizza was basically cold by the time I even got to the window. Thanks for wasting my time.

Sat in the pickup line for 20 minutes after being told my order was ready. 5 of which was sitting at the window and nobody came to check on me. The guy inside would glance o er byt nothing was said or done. I finally got my order about 30 minutes after being told it was ready on the app.
