Colleague took one bite and also had the same chemical taste. For chicken that is supposed to be marinated for 24 hrs would think there is a better flavor. Both had rice bowls lemon and herb and hot.

The chicken was absolutely delicious — juicy, flavorful, and grilled to perfection. We went with the “hot” spice level, and it definitely brought the heat! It was just the right amount for us, but if you’re not used to spicy food, you might want to start a level down and work your way up. Overall, a great spot for tasty peri peri chicken and warm, genuine service. We’ll definitely be back!
