  Waited in the drive-through for over five minutes I kept saying hello and nobody answered. There was a car parked out the door and a whole bunch of people in the restaurant when I pulled up to the window, it said closed and it was only 12. You people are disgusting and need to be trained better 04/10/26

  Was here for a door dash pickup and the lobby was closed at 8 and the drive thru was long. I used the pickup window available in the front and I still waited another 20 minutes for the delivery and while I was waiting even though I didn't order anything I observed that the drive thru line still didn't move just saying be patient or choose another location

  Honestly, I don’t know how anyone could give them a bad review, I’ve went to #MIN McDonald’s all over the area, including places like Schererville and Highland and St. John and the McDonald’s off of fifth Avenue has always got the best food and one of the cleanest McDonald’s in the area! The men and women that weren’t there are professional that I’ve always seen and have never treated me bad in any way I think people like to leave bad reviews all the time and never give good reviews when somebody does something good but that’s not my style. I will give kudos where kudos is due and I think this McDonald’s is one of the better ones in the area.

  This is the worst McDonald’s on the planet I’ve been here two times after getting off work we’re no one took your order for half an hour and I eventually just end up driving off. Service is terrible. Orders are always messed up and they’re always understaffed for some reason. Go somewhere else.

  I have Spent 43 of 45 years of My Life Traveling All over America. In All My years have I Come across a McDonalds that Truly Stood Out from the Rest until I started coming to the McDonalds on 5th Avenue in Gary, Indiana This Establishment is Da Bomb 💣 bc it has Several Amazing Wonderful Dedicated Hard Working & Awesome Employees. Courtney’s Work Ethic will leave a Warm Feeling in Your Heart ❤️ Josh has a Demeanor about Him that Shines like a Star which Makes Him an Even Greater Manager. There are So many More Awesome Employees yet I don’t know their names. This McDonalds has a Vibe that You have to Experience for Yourself. You’ll Find Culture, Several Employees Working Extremely Hard along with Enjoying Themselves. Don’t Forget People’s this is Gary, Indiana where these Amazing People Face Grief, Misery & Torment just for saying Hello to Someone yet The Awesome Employees of this McDonald’s Love All ❤️ Thank You & GOD BLESS 🙏🤙😎 Special Shout Out to Lawrencia, She works the front counter (probably the hardest job function) Yet She Shines like a Star ⭐️ Friendly, Professional, Dedicated, Hard Working & Absolutely Amazing 🙏
