  I truly enjoyed everything I had! I will be coming back again and again. The wings with the sauce, superb! The steak Hoggie was super good along with the fries! I leaving here singing, singing!❤️😀

  The food is amazing. The original place is in chicago but the nephew has made the duplicate amazingly well. Came from Nebraska to try an old staple I use to eat in the 80’s and 90’s in chicago and impressed is not the word❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

  I came here for the first time because I was craving a hoagie and the reviews looked good, so I wanted to give them a try. When I arrived, the young lady at the register was really sweet. I was curious about their sweet sauce and asked if I could taste it. She actually gave some fries with the sauce for me and my friend to try, which made me want to order more. Because of her great customer service, I ordered two hoagies and a steak bowl. When I ordered the steak bowl, she asked me if I wanted American cheese or nacho cheese. I chose nacho cheese specifically because my friend does not like American cheese. The food was made fresh and smelled good. However, when I opened my steak bowl in the car, I realized it did not have the nacho cheese I requested. Instead, it had American cheese that I did not ask for. I went back inside to have it corrected. The man who I believe is the owner told me the cheese was “under the fries,” even though it was not the type of cheese I asked for. I asked if he could add the correct cheese on top, and he told me no, in a tone that felt annoyed. I then asked if I could buy the correct cheese, and at first he said it would be eighty-five cents. When I said that was fine and pulled my phone out, he then said never mind and gave it. The amount was very small for the size of the food, but I accepted it. Before leaving, I also asked for an extra paper tray so my friend and I could split the food. He responded, “Ok now you’re doing too much, no.” Instead of just saying no or explaining a policy in a respectful way, he spoke to me in a rude and dismissive tone. I told him that this was my first time coming and I just wanted to enjoy my food, and he banged on the counter and said, “This your first time? Thanks for coming. Next.” That moment honestly made me feel dismissed and embarrassed. I walked in excited to support and enjoy a new place, but his reaction made me lose my appetite and lowered my interest in the food. I went from feeling excited and ready to eat to feeling uncomfortable about eating food from someone who spoke to me that way. To be fair, the steak bowl itself tasted good once I finally sat down to eat it. The hoagie sandwiches were not very good and were a disappointment. Overall, I spent around thirty-three dollars and left feeling like the experience did not match the energy I came in with. I truly came wanting to support, but professionalism and customer care matter just as much as the food. I hope this review is taken as honest feedback and an opportunity to improve, especially because the young lady at the front desk was the reason I felt excited to order in the first place.

  A MUST TRY...absolutely delicious. homemade French fries with homemade BBQ Sauce, full chicken wings the steak sandwich is sooo good, they make everything to order so you do have to wait a bit, if you don't want to wait just call ahead or order online. Once you try NEPHEWS you'll be addicted ;)
