  My friends and I (3 people) decided to dine here despite what I read in the reviews. I wanted to support a Black Owned Business because I’m a business owner myself . Unfortunately the reviews were correct. Food lacked flavor, our waitress disappeared on us and we had additional gratuity charges on our bill (the waitress corrected it after we brought it to her attention). One of us had to walk to the counter to ask for the rest of our order. The atmosphere was great! We were greeted when we walked in the door by a very nice person. I normally try to see the benefit of the doubt when food service is in place but this seems to be the language of their business. Best of luck to you! I always want to see us win.

  Everythingggggggg is good awesome delicious words can't explain how amazing this food is. Not everything good. The fried Green Tomatoes is off the chain. Omgggg. Super happy. My new restaurant hands down.

  I’m just passing thru town and was looking for breakfast and this place popped up, I haven’t even got my food yet and I already love this place, very calm and smooth jazz playing and the way they have it decorated is so beautiful. I wish they had these in Dallas tx where I’m from I would go every chance I got. Wait staff were very sweet girls. Good just got here and it looks ssoooo good! They had me at grits!

  This was my first visit to J’s Breakfast Club, and I came with my husband looking forward to a good breakfast experience. Unfortunately, it fell a bit short. We were greeted and seated promptly, which was appreciated. However, the service became inconsistent after that. One waitress slid our drinks onto the table without saying a word, which felt a bit impersonal. Another waitress took our order and chose not to write anything down. While I appreciate confidence and efficiency, that approach doesn’t work for everyone—part of my order was forgotten. I ordered the chicken biscuit, and it was disappointing. The chicken was overcooked and bland, and the biscuit was very hard—so much so that I had to separate the chicken and biscuit just to eat it. Even then, the lack of flavor made it difficult to finish the meal. Overall, the experience was just okay. There’s potential here, but both the food quality and service consistency need improvement.
