I ordered a deep dish pizza with fresh garlic but the garlic wasn’t spread out. It was dropped on top of the pizza in big spoonfuls of tiny garlic pieces. Which means I have to eat through bites that have too much garlic and some bites that don’t have any. It throws off the taste of the pizza significantly. I have ordered this exact pizza combination at a different Giordano’s and the garlic was spread out evenly. Order #7983267

I was born and raised in Chicago... specifically in Oak Lawn. We had a Giordano's right there on 95th St for my entire life untill I left at 27. I'm 54, now. I had a stroke 2 years ago and has been recovering in a Ft Wayne, IN nursing home. My son and DIL (and hubby)are in Angola. My kids were also born and raised in Chicago (Evergreen Park). So that's the background. We have a long history with Giordano's. THIS is not Giordano's. It's similar, but... The deep dish is for tourists. I have no real opinion on that...other than to say this and Holland, MI are NOT the pizzas I grew up with in Chicago. It's not terrible, but it's NOT Chicago-Style pizza, either. Like MOST Chicagoans, it's the thin crust pizzas we crave (exceptions are made for Nancy's or Aurelio's). And I have had Chicago-style thin crust from Giordano's when ever I go home to visit. This is NOT Chicago-style thin crust OR deep dish. It's "ok", but it's definitely not Chicago-style pizzas. I'll still order it, because it's at least decent, but it's NOT Chicago-style pizza. It's sort of a hybrid. And again, since I'm still in the nursing home for therapy, I'll keep ordering it. But I look forward to actually be IN Chicago proper and getting REAL Chicago thin crust and deep dish. This isn't it.

First time here since moving to Fort Wayne a couple months ago. Food was fantastic! I had lasagna which was great, fresh ingredients, tasted totally homemade. My husband ordered the Chicago tavern style pizza… super crispy and loaded with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was perfect, not obnoxious at all. Service was great! We’ll be back 😊

Im a deep dish lover. Born and raised in chicago. Ive been in fort wayne for work and have came this location thrice. The first time the pizza was SO watery and soggy. I had to try it again and make sure it wasnt just a bad day at the office. Went there the following week- soggy AGAIN. Went a third time and asked for it well done. It was burnt but still so so soggy and watery. This location is giving giordanos a bad name. The pizza is horrible. Unfortunately I wont be going back here. Service was good. Bartender was great. Just soggy soggy pizza :( literally a puddle under the pizza every time.

Had such a disappointing pizza a few nights ago. We expected an hour wait to receive our pizza at home but by the time it arrived it was not at all hot, lukewarm at best. And it was so dry and overcooked. The crust tasted like cardboard. It was terrible! I am from Illinois and have loved eating Giordano's pizza 25 years, I WANT this restaurant to succeed and stay here in Fort Wayne. But this was a huge disappoint and waste of money. I'm not sure I'll be splurging again any time soon.
