  don’t mobile order or order doordash from this one. they apparently do not see the orders in the restaurant and do not fulfill them correctly. two weeks ago i ordered 4 blizzards and they had to ask what i ordered, made all of them small. just ordered doordash and had 2 deliveries and they just threw whatever they wanted into the chicken strip boxes, first 6 piece had 5 strips second one had 8 (??), no sauces that i paid extra for, no cheese curds or pretzel sticks TWICE. i used to stop by this one on my lunch breaks when i worked down the road and the same thing. they also take ~20 minutes but i have worked at DQ and know when it’s warm that makes sense. kept giving this one a chance because the employees are super nice and it’s closest to me, but i cannot justify throwing more money down the drain. i’ll go to illinois next time. lesson learned.

  Waynedale Dairy Queen has a friendly staff and a great menu. The online ordering saves time and you get points for free treats and meals.

  My original post was on 2/3/26 regarding the birthday cake they messed up. I copied and deleted the old so they would see the new part after they responded. (2/3/26) My husband ordered a cake for my birthday. He asked for extra crunchies. They changed $13 extra for extra crunchies in an 8" cake, then put extra fudge instead of extra crunchies. Also, the cake looked bad. They did even smooth the top before they decorated it. Thanks for ruining my birthday. I will be contacting corporate. The owners responded saying they hoped we would give them another chance without even offering a refund or replacement (that would not be an option now) their over priced screw up. (Reply to their response of my initial review) NO WE WILL NOT GIVE YOU ANOTHER CHANCE WHEH YOU WON'T EVEN OFFER TO FIX YOUR MISTAKE. YOU OVERCHARGED US AND MADE THE CAKE INCORRECTLY. EVERYONE SHOULD AVOID THIS DQ. AS YOU CAN SEE BY THEIR RESPONSE TO ME, THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO FIX THEIR MISTAKES, BUT EXPECT ME TO GIVE THEM ANOTHER CHANCE LIKE SAYING SORRY ONLINE FIXES THINGS.

  ​1/5 Stars: Complete disconnect between promise and delivery. ​While the food itself was acceptable, the service completely failed. We received our meals but had to separately request our drinks, only to be met with an inexplicably rude and attitude-filled response from the worker. I noted the poster on the door listing 6-7 things the establishment promises to do for its customers; unfortunately, zero of these standards were met during our experience. This level of service is unacceptable, and we will not be back.
