  I would call myself a food critic per se…. Mainly because I enjoy almost everything I eat. But no matter what I order at Dae Gee, it always hits the spot. Basically karate kicks it in the face actually. The star of the show, something I order every time I go because it practically calls my name, is the Kimbap. Yeeeahh I see fireworks behind my eyelids and new colors invent themselves every time I eat it. I can’t NOT order it. Call me dramatic. The staff is fantastic, friendly and helpful and I always enjoy the atmosphere, if I lived closer I would be a regular. But needless to say they are going to be seeing me again. Dae Gee, if you’re reading this, I’m one of your biggest fans and I appreciate you all. Never stop being amazing. 🎆

  We were in for lunch with a party of six so a gratuity was added even though the wait didn't know anything about the menu. I'm not complaining about the autogratuity. I understand. 4 of us ordered a bento style lunch and I and one other ordered the BBQ sampler. The premium BBQ sampler includes shrimp. Not worth the premium of $8 for 5 underwhelming medium-sized shrimp. Other than that, a good time was had by all. Maybe a card with pictures of the condiments and sampler would give one a notion of what's what for those of us who are not familiar with the cuisine would help. I would like to try it again but could use a primer on hot pot.

  Dae Gee is what PF Changs is to chinese food. It was very good fine dining, but kind of lacks that authenticity. However, let me repeat, the food and service were great. The only thing is, if you're old like me, bring a sweater because it's cold in there....
