  I placed my order at 2:43 pm and did not receive my order until 10 after 3. No drink lids or straws available and drink station asked employee for some to no avail. When I received my order we tried to find a clean table or booth but everyone was dirty. We used a wet wipe from my girlfriends purse to clean a booth so we could sit and eat. Once we sat to eat all of our food was cold except for our onion rings. And the giardinera was missing. Went to pick up counter to address the issues waited over 10 minutes for a manager finally grew impatient and left. I will not return to this location it was definitely the worst portillo's dining experience ive ever had. I could understand if the were really busy but there was Noone in line in front of us and customers that came over five minutes after us in line received their orders before us.

  Love Portillos! Have been visiting since before they expanded out of Chicago. This one did not disappoint. Highly recommend the Maxwell St Polish, Chicago dogs, and the Italian beef. And always top it off with either a piece of cake or a cake shake!

  The employees don’t welcome you or thank you for your patronage. It is hit or miss on whether they have your order correct with carry out. I always check my order and it is correct about 50% of the time. The food is good and that is why we go back.

  I love Portillo's. I no longer have one near me so when I am traveling and I get lucky enough to stop I am very excited. I'm wondering if today was a training day. My order was easy Chicago dog no peppers, Dr Pepper easy ice, fries and a piece of chocolate cake. I ordered at the drive thru. I was suprised they didn't have people outside working the Drive thru. The line was very slow. When I got to the pay windows, she confirmed my order, I paid, she said Don't pull forward and she left. Quite a while later someone came out to take orders for the very long and backed up line. When someone finally came to the pay windows they couldn't find my order so I guessed they remade and had me pull up to the pick up windows. There they could not find my order so I waited, bo one asked me to go to a parking spot, I just sat there holding the line up. Finally my order came and she confirmed Rootbeer, nope, Dr Pepper easy ice. She went back, came to the windows and again confirmed Root beer, nope, Dr. Pepper, she said yeah, that's what I mentioned. And I was finally one my way, with a Rootbeer. Every employee was professional, I could tell they were dealing with some issues but no one was frustrated, they all kept there cool and I enjoyed my Rootbeer.
