But then at the end they stated they had protein bowls, which is what he asked for in the first place. So we ended up just leaving without his food because he was so upset about it.

I felt so bad, if I could have hopped behind that counter to help I would have. Worked for subway 15 years ago and never dealt the line alone during lunch or dinner rush..smh
