    I keep getting more and more disappointed every time I come to this location. I love Dutch Bros, but the wait times here have become extremely frustrating. This morning, I left my house 45 minutes early to try to beat the line and even placed a mobile order before I left. There were only about 5 cars in the drive-thru, yet I still sat there for 25+ minutes and my drink wasn’t ready. Making me almost late. Honestly, half the time I end up choosing to go somewhere else because I know if I place a mobile order here, I’m still going to be stuck waiting 25–30+ minutes. That completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. The most frustrating part is that this isn’t a one-time issue.. it’s every single time I come. When this location first opened, I came almost every day. Even when the lines were crazy long, it still moved faster and felt more efficient than it does now. Now I avoid coming because I know I’ll be there for 30+ minutes, even when it doesn’t look busy. I’m really hoping the future First Ave location doesn’t have the same issue, because this has gotten to the point where it’s just not worth stopping anymore.

    Can’t judge atmosphere as it is walk up window or drive thru only. I ordered an iced shark attack rebel. It didn’t look anything like the picture on the menu, but it tasted alright. The coffee smelled divine. No outside seating. Take it and go! 😂

    We wanted to love this place! Tried it a few times, not impressed with the drinks. The staff is SO friendly, but wow does it take FOREVER to get through the line - even when it isn’t busy. I don’t think we’ve ever waited less than 30 minutes. We’re trying to figure out why it takes so long. Unfortunately with it happening every single visit, we’ve decided it’s not for us and won’t be back. Hopefully they can find some ways to boost efficiency and get the line moving quicker!

    I really wish I could give this location zero stars. Their sharp decline in quality control and consistency has become extremely noticeable and it reflects in the 3-star rating this place currently holds. All the complaints everyone’s mentioning are valid and completely true. The only positive reviews I’ve seen are from customers getting simple drinks like a hot cocoa which are pretty hard to mess up. It’s truly disheartening because when they first opened up here months ago and had the Oregon training team from corporate HQ running the show it was awesome, friendly service, shorter wait times, and wonderful consistency in drink quality. Since they have left and it’s just Evansville staff, everything’s gone completely downhill and the quality is out the window. The last five to six times I've visited with my partner, something has been wrong with either one or both of our drinks - quite literally worse than a 50% error rate each time. On one order in particular, husband brought home my drink and it was incredibly bitter - they absolutely forgot to add any pumps of syrup. On another order I was handed a "zero sugar" blended freeze that clearly had been prepared with the default fully-sugared base. It was very easily distinguishable by the texture and flavor as it was like a milkshake instead of the usual icy consistency expected with zero sugar blended freezes. Then, I tried a Zero Sugar version of the White Chocolate Lavender Blended Freeze. Nobody bothered to tell me the lavender syrup wasn't on the list of zero sugar syrups and I was told by a different broista today that they only have a select list of sugar free syrups and listed of all of them. That's a pretty major detail to leave out for someone ordering a zero sugar freeze. Today was the final straw for our Dutch Bros loyalty. I ordered two Blended Freezes and despite leaving a tip, they were handed to me as 100% liquid. No ice, just terribly bitter coffee water. When I asked for a remake, the worker actually apologized and admitted they knew they made them wrong but gave them to us anyway. Even after they were remade, they were still watery and bitter and truly undrinkable. The broista claimed they couldn't get the drinks any icier," which is ridiculous because when I got home (after waiting 40 minutes in line), I threw them in my own blender with some ice and zero sugar syrup and surprise - they were perfect. I'm not sure what happened to the company’s standard for excellence here, but the entire staff needs a serious retraining. Honestly, this entire location needs to be shut down and retrained as well as dedicated home base staffing needs to be implemented because clearly Evansville staff cannot be left to their own devices here to maintain quality. It is a stain on Dutch Bros name to keep the store in this state the way that it is. If this keeps up, expect these reviews to continue flooding in and everyone will be telling their friends and families to avoid this place and just go to Starbucks or Scooter’s down the street instead. I know we were recommend to this place by word of mouth and a lot of Evansvillians were too - don’t underestimate the power of bad reviews. I wouldn’t be surprised if this place is shut down by the end of the year. We will not be returning and I’ll be telling everyone to avoid this place.

    The drinks are delicious. I have been trying to avoid coming back because it takes forever - and not just when the line is long. But that hot cocoa is so tasty. I will say the staff is generally super friendly — but the wait times are extreme. I know I can only stop to get a drink if I don’t have anywhere I have to get to for a long while. If I need to get a drink in a reasonable amount of time, I go to Scooter’s. Please do something about the speed of service.
