  Was very discouraged and disappointed with the customer service lady. I wanted to play the lottery like I saw other people playing. When I go to the customer service desk the lady tells me she can't do a quick pick Millionaire for life game, I would have to go to the machine. She said she can only sale scratch off tickets and they are not allowed to use the lottery machine on her counter. I felt very offended and embarrassed by the way she said it. Seemed very racists to me. My husband went through the same thing Monday morning with the same lady. I won Mega Millions a couple of years ago and it was a quick pick over the counter. I asked for a Manager and he act like he didn't know what was going on and looking like he didn't care. My husband asked if he could do it and he said he didn't know anything about it. Another lady came up, I'm assuming she was a head cashier and she said they are not allowed to put numbers in you have to use the machine. People were looking and we felt humiliated. I was so upset I wanted to call the police but I knew that would only make matters worse. They should have a sign up saying use the machine if you want to play lottery. Why do you have a machine on the counter if you're not going to use it? We will never shop there again.

  There was an amazing employee today, I believe her name was Bridget? She was so nice and was very helpful. Best worker I’ve dealt with at Jewel so far. One worker I saw was being so rude to other workers🙄. So disappointing.

  If you are looking for a place to buy opened/expired food that doesnt match the price tag, this is the right place. If you would like to order ahead over 24hrs in advance for grocery delivery, don’t actually count on it coming either. Waited all day to have them cancel my order at 8:30pm, and hey they can reschedule it for another day at a higher price…no problem. This is what they think customer service is. Can’t wait to see if this is the first time I actually get what I ordered. We have terrible grocery options in this city.

  I showed the deli worker the Jewel app on my phone to show him what cheese I wanted, and he proceeded to ask me why I’m “doordashing with my baby”. I wasn’t even doordashing? Even if I was, why would that be his business? I sent an email to Jewels “contact us” link on their website and never got a response. Rude and unprofessional, though I’m not sure what I expected from an elderly deli worker.

  I was there on March 7, 2026 to buy my son some pain/fever relief. I used the self check out for two different transactions. One was for my regular debit card and the second one was for the medication. Since it's medication I tried to use my FSA/HSA card and it got declined while trying to use the chip,some older lady came and tried to tell me to try to swipe instead. It is an older card, Im set to get a new one in May 2026 and i know the chip/strip doesnt work sometimes, when that happens, I normally just pay with my own personal debit card and just send my employer proof of my receipt to get reimbursement. So my plan was to do the same this time if it kept getting declined no big deal. Well this lady so loudly and rudely said "yeah its probably because there's no money on that card" I tried to explain its an HSA card but she just walked away. Now, I know there's funds in that account and I knew the reason why sometimes it may not work but for her to say it loudly around everyone was uncalled for. What if it was someone that is low on funds and she just embarrasses people by yelling out that they have no money. Regardless of the card type or the reason for a decline, it is highly unprofessional to shout assumptions about a customer's finances for everyone to hear. I ended up paying with my personal card and movedon, but her behavior was embarrassing and unnecessary. Employees should be trained on how to handle card issues discreetly and professionally rather than shouting out personal assumptions.
