- ZMZippy MadaharOct 7, 20251.0I’m a big foodie and have been to over 50+ Mexican restaurants across Indiana and this was unfortunately one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I love Mexican food for its flavors, hospitality and warm service — but this place really disappointed me. I drove 20 minutes from Cambridge City with my brother during work hours (we run a mobile detailing business) just to try this restaurant. When we arrived, no one greeted us. There seemed to be only one person managing everything even though the place was somewhat busy. The lighting was too dark, no music, no welcoming atmosphere. We sat for 30 minutes — no water, no chips, no salsa and no one came to take our order. Even after reminding the waiter, he said, “I’m busy, a few more minutes,” but nothing changed. We finally left frustrated and went across the street to McDonald’s just to grab something quick. This was a total waste of time and such a mood spoiler. I hope the owner improves the staffing, greeting, and overall customer service because good food alone isn’t enough if service is this poor.
