Could probably get orders out faster if everyone wasn’t outside taking a break at once. 5 employees were outside smoking when I pulled into the parking lot. Employees don’t even greet you when you enter the lobby. Large women and a male went into the bathroom together while I was standing there.

This is easily the best Taco Bell in this area. Some items are a little bit more expensive than other Taco Bells but it's worth it. It's way better than the Crown Point Taco Bell that's been going downhill for 5 years. I went there last week out of convenience cuz it was close and it was absolutely disgusting every table was dirty the sauces weren't stocked they were just standing around talking to each other it took 2 minutes to get my drink cup and 12 minutes to get my food there was barely any meat on my taco and my five layer was about an inch thick and mostly beans it was so gross I couldn't even finish it. I have no clue how they're still in business. I passed up the other Taco Bell on 41 and drove out of my way to go to the Cedar Lake Taco Bell because I knew the food would be on point and I'd actually get some meat in my food

We have been here a handful of times hoping for a better experience. They have forgotten an item about 7/10 times. The food is either cooked very well or put together like a toddler. The staff is not kind at all, definitely needs to hire better staff. Decided to go in tonight after working a very long shift in hopes of a quick experience. Drive thru was slammed which is typical so I was patient with that until I realized I got my food & drove off without my drinks. They were busy, it happens. I went inside to grab them and stood there for about 10 minutes being blatantly ignored. Visibly saw someone making food with gloves on, grab her phone to text with the gloves on, then put her phone down & continued making food…very disgusting. Phones collect lots of germs. Do not recommend here unless very desperate at this point. Went downhill very quickly and needs a full new staff.

$7 for one chalupa is ridiculous, you can go around the corner to the Mexican restaurant and get one for like four bucks
