- MSmarshall smithDec 20, 20251.0My siblings and our mates have an annual dinner for Christmas. 12-19-25. 5pm. 6 of us. We had 3 appetizers. Calamari, mushrooms and fried zucchini. They were almost average. Nothing to brag about. The bread was horrible. And I’m a bread fan. I will say the garden salads were fresh and good. We had 2 lasagnas, 2 fettuccine Alfredo, 1 porterhouse steak and a garden primavera. My wife and sister in laws lasagna they said was well below average. Sauce was tomato paste and mostly cheese. The fettuccine Alfredo, which I had, was BAD. The fettuccine noodles were thick and undercooked and the Alfredo sauce was super lumpy, cheesy, pasty with a sour kick to it. I gave it an honest try but after 5-6 bites I couldn’t eat another bite. My sisters garden primavera. She didn’t eat because the pasta was thick and chew and tasted bad. My brothers steak w he said was good but it was very very thin. Definitely not a $58 steak. I rate the food as the worst that we’ve had all year. 2025. On a scale of 1-10. Maybe a 2. And that’s generous. I will say that Casey, our waitress, was very good at service. She couldn’t help that the cooks didn’t know how to cook. We tipped her well. Merry Christmas Casey. We will never return to Peloni’s in Brazil. We spent over $300 and McDonalds would have been much better.
