Went through the drive thru and ordered two chocolate blizzards with cookie dough and a small cone with chocolate ice cream. As I was ordering the small cone ice cream, the girl who took my order kept saying “cup” when I specifically said cone. I repeated myself three times and she continued to say cup. As i was getting my order, she gives me two blizzards and chocolate ice cream in a cup. I told them i wanted it in a cone, So they made it again and gave me what i asked for.
As I was driving home I realized the blizzards weren’t chocolate, instead they were vanilla. I drove back, told them I ordered them with chocolate ice cream. They claimed that i said blizzards with cookie dough and didn’t specify what kind of ice cream. Very disappointed, If i could give this 0 stars I would.

No es bueno. Los propietarios cobran demasiado por un gran cono de helado-suave. Este helado no debería ser más caro que un galón de gasolina. Cuando el precio de Dairy Queen sube más que el de la estación Mobil, sabes que tienes un problema.

I ordered a vanilla cone with sprinkles, the kid confirmed my order through the speaker. When I got to the drive thru window, I was handed a vanilla cone without sprinkles. I said, "Oh, that is supposed to have sprinkles, though." He returned to the window after adding them, with the manager, and said, "You have to tell us before paying that you want sprinkles." I said that I did and that he had repeated the order back to me and it was correct, he just forgot to add them. The manager said, well you didn't pay for them, and said again that they needed to be ordered prior to paying. I again told him,I did and the kid had repeated the order back to me and had included the sprinkles. It was not my fault that he didn't put it into their system. The manager then said, "Well,we didn't hear you and your getting free sprinkles, our loss your gain." I said, "He REPEATED the order back to me... he heard me."
I wasn't planning to leave a review, but after reading the reviews left here over the last several months, it appears many others have had very similar experiences. We go to this DQ about once a week, maybe 3x a month, but this really turned me off. Not only did they act as though I don't know how to properly place an order for a cone, the managers,"Our loss your gain" made me feel like he thought I was trying to pull a fast one on them over fifty cents worth of some sprinkles. Maybe he will learn what excellent customer service entails, which in this case would have been to just add the sprinkles to the cone and move on. There are other choices for sweet treats in town, and next time we will likely head elsewhere.
