  Worst McDonalds in all of West Dundee. I tried to order a Hamburger (plain), fries and a drink. Ultimately it’s the one meal that made McDonalds famous! The girl taking my order told me I could not order it since it wasn’t on the menu. I asked how is that possible when I just order that exact meal a week ago. Her response “if it’s not on the menu, then you can’t order it”. I’m confident that she needs to learn the menu and all offerings. I left and will spend my money elsewhere. Nonetheless, the amount of mistakes they consistently make, this place needs to improve its staff, educate their employees in the menu and quality of service. It’s a shame that franchises are allowed to operate with poor service, and poor management of that staff. Stay away and go to Culver’s instead.

  Be careful here! Ordered a McChicken and seemed very old and cold. I ate half because it was not good and my husband ate the rest. 24 hours later were both so sick with food poisoning.

  BEWARE OF THIS MCDONALD'S LOCATION BECAUSE THEY DON'T CARE!! C'mon McDonald's this is unacceptable, I paid for a large, no salt fries and received a small fry in a large box with salt. Smdh. 😡 CHECK YOUR ORDERS BEFORE LEAVING!! This place is another CRAPTASTIC DELUXE HELLHOLE & the staff needs retraining. I contacted McDonald's customer care feedback and never received a response or a resolution to this matter.

  Friday business hours are listed as being open until 1am. My husband and I, went to this McDonald’s and placed an order on 2/14/26 at 12:07am, so says the receipt. Mind you most outside lights were off and menu boards were dark. We are at the window now and pay. With the window left open we hear someone say that they have to leave exactly at 1am cause their uber was picking them up and soon after that this woman, who I can only assume was the manager, approaches us and says they are closed and if we wanted different food than what we ordered. Trying to entice us by saying it was of greater value since we only ordered two 6-piece nuggets and two drinks. Neither one of us gave a complete answer because she over talked us and we were confused. After waiting almost 15minutes we got two large bags with two large fries (some soggy and cold, some hard as a rock), two apples pies, a cold and hard 4-piece nugget and chicken sandwich. None of which was fresh or what we ordered! We waited longer for that garbage than it takes to cook fresh nuggets! We asked for the receipt and the manager was all confused because she had thrown it away. She pulled it out of the trash can and gave it to us. Utterly confused and disappointed.

  One of the worst McDs. Yes, I know it is fast food but come on! I worked at one when I was young and it was never like this one. They are slow as molasses. Skimpy on the fries which were less than half filled. The drinks were not filled - more than a quarter of the way not filled. At least put more ice in if you are too cheap to fill it more. Food was cold even though we waited for almost ten minutes and they wouldn't use my code for a coupon. There were plenty of workers so that wasn't an issue! Waiting for the food, I thought it would be hot. Nope! This isn't a one time issue. I thought I'd give them another try! I should have know it wasn't going to be a good experience!
