  Subject complaint regarding poor food quality and service at chipotle location waukegan Il : Iam writing a formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at the chipotle mexican grill 940 s waukegan rd location the food quality extremely poor it lacked freshness proper temperature and flavor the overall taste was disappointing and did not meet the standards I expected in addition staff behavior was unprofessional .the employees appeared inexprienced and did not demonstrate proper customer service skills.the service was not frendly organized or efficient .Based on this experience. I would rate this location only one star. Unfortunately, do not plan to return in the future unless significant Improvements are made.I hope management takes this complaint seriously and works to Impove both food quality and customer service at this location sincerely RAshid Abdi

  We arrived at 5:45 and were the only ones there. We got our food and couldn’t find a clean table in the restaurant. They also had a sign that said they were out of napkins. We brushed off a table with one of our bags. The brown rice was undercooked. I asked after why they aren’t cleaning the tables off as the were standing around with nothing to do. They told me I could have asked them to wipe a table off. Nasty environment. Two different songs being played loudly in the dining area and then kitchen. They didn’t want anyone eating inside no doubt.

  Please don't go this location I came tonight for a bowl and a burrito and i was so disappointed I usually go the one in Buffalo Grove because i work there and their portions are reasonable not here in waukegan where they are skimpy i also noticed the person behind me ordered the same as me burrito and a bowl and the girl served him more than a full spoon i only got one and I had to asked and pay for an extra portion i won't come and I will post in social media and suggest other people do not come to this location

  Multiple incidents of incorrect food given at pickup counter. One incident had the wrong name on the bag, correct name on the burrito bowl, and inside the bowl was someone else's order. Multiple incidents of unsatisfactory service, specifically at pickup counter. 2/4/26 @12pm, worker running pickup counter just stares at you, no "hello" "how can I help you" etc. just a blank stare and an attitude every single time I see her. This location needs a lot of work culturally and managerially.

  1/28/26 WEDNSDAY NIGHT 6 OCLOCK I walked into restaurant to pick up a doordash order. There were 3 employees standing at the front doing nothing. My order was sitting on the counter un-bagged. I asked the employees to bag up the order, and slap a label on it so I can get on my way. They all informed me that they were under strict orders that they were not allowed to leave their positions even if it were to bag up an order that would of took just less than 30 seconds. I then proceeded to ask them who was handling the doordash orderes and one of the employees replied back my manager is doing doordash, and then I asked where's the manager, the employee informed me that THE MANAGER WAS IN THE BATHROOM........... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.. IM LIKE OOH GOD!!!
