    Avoid at lunch, they have 2 order lines, you get stuck behind the whole office order, 6-7 people who arrived after you get to stay in front of you to add to your wait, not worth it, will choose one of the many other options every day over this poorly managed mess

    I’d honestly rather drive all the way to Gurnee than come back to this Chick-fil-A. The drive-through service here is terrible. No one says “thank you,” and the overall attitude is completely different compared to the Gurnee location. The service is slow and unprofessional. I sat waiting for my food while employees were having full conversations and even on their phones. It felt like customers were the last priority. This location seriously needs to take notes from the Gurnee store, because the difference in service is night and day. I wouldn’t waste my time coming here again.

    I'm a Chik Fil A regular and was very excited to see this new location. Almost every experience I've had with a Chik Fil A in the past has been super impressive as far as service and efficiency. I know this is a new location, but don't open until you're prepared to operate sufficiently. I literally could have left, driven to Vernon Hills, and gotten my food before I got mine at this location. Corporate needs to get on it! 1.) Slowest "fast" food experience I've ever had. I was in the drive thru lane for over a half an hour. 2.) One morning they were out of Chicken Minis and I had to get out of my car and physically move a cone so I could get out of line and not be stuck there forever. Once you get in line you're stuck. 3.) I've visited a handful of times and never been in and out of the drive thru line in less than 10 minutes, no matter how busy it is. 4.) Pulled in today to the right lane and got halfway through before I saw the cone blocking the lane and had to back up to get back into the open lane. 5.) Each car was at the speaker for approximately 5 minutes. 6.) The restaurant was empty and I saw 4 employees. No sense of urgency. 7.) The scanner was broken so they couldn't scan my QR code for rewards and to pay. She had to take my phone to manually enter the numbers and then it still didn't automatically charge my stored credit card like it usually does. I had to then get my card out to pay, delaying everything even more. 8.) No acknowledgment of or apologies for the extreme wait time. 9.) Icing on the cake - food wasn't even hot.

    I pulled up to the drive-thru and saw one lane occupied, so I went to the other lane expecting to use the speaker. No one responded, so I waited for the employee to finish with the first car. Another car pulled up behind me, and it was clear I was next. However, once the employee finished with the first car, she skipped me and went directly to the car behind. I politely asked if the speaker was not working, and she simply told me to wait. Instead, I decided to park and go inside. Inside, there were several employees standing around talking or walking without clear direction. There was only one cashier handling a line of customers, and multiple people were waiting on their orders. It took me at least 15–20 minutes to receive mine. This was by far my worst experience at any Chick-fil-A. I say that because I genuinely want the Waukegan location to succeed. I would suggest better training and ensuring employees are attentive, efficient, and upholding the standards Chick-fil-A is known for.

    Food is always decent, but everytime I come the service gets slower and slower. Today was horrendous I waited in line at the counter for almost 15 minutes while multiple employees walked past and ignored us. Never received a hello, I’ll be right with you or nothing. I would understand if they were getting swamped and it was very busy but you sit there and see 10+ employees joking around and dancing and touching on each other it becomes frustrating. To make it worse there was what looked like to be a GM or DM blonde female who just stood there and looked lost. But after waiting 15 minutes to order I walked another 15 to get my food and they forgot the shake and when I said something the girl looked at me like I was speaking German, I then proceeded to wait another 5 minutes for the shake. I know it’s a newer place but management needs to get ahold on things or be trained better because it’s not a good look for only being open less than two months.
