I had a very disappointing experience at this location, largely due to the unprofessional behavior of the manager, Rasha Alkhatib.
We placed an online order and arrived at the scheduled pickup time, only to wait an additional 30+ minutes. When we arrived, staff told us our order, placed over an hour earlier, could not be completed on time because they were prioritizing a separate catering order. While it was frustrating, we were patient.
We were then informed that items could not be fulfilled due to a fryer malfunction. Staff offered substitutions, which we declined, and we politely requested a refund for the unavailable items. We were told the system was “down” and that refunds could not be processed, and instead were asked to return another day to redeem the items. This was unacceptable, as we paid for food we did not receive.
When I called to speak with the manager to follow up, the interactions were extremely unpleasant. She was rude, dismissive, and repeatedly interrupted me, saying things like “oh my God, what do you want?” She told me to stop talking, and expressed annoyance that I had called multiple times to discuss the issue—despite the issue still not being resolved. She also contradicted earlier information, falsely claiming that a refund had been offered and declined, which is not true.
As of now (the next day), we still have not received a refund for items we were charged for but never received. When I expressed concern about her tone, she responded by saying, “this is just how I talk” and “I don’t like to drag things out, oh my God”, instead of addressing the issue professionally and respectfully like any manager should.
This situation was handled very poorly, and the manager’s behavior was unacceptable. Customer service should be respectful, honest, and solution-focused- none of which were demonstrated here. Unfortunately, we will not be returning, and I would caution others based on this experience.
