The smell was musty, rotten, and overpowering—so bad that it made my entire kitchen smell within minutes of opening the package. This is not a minor issue. Selling meat in this condition is unacceptable and unsafe. I had to throw everything away immediately. After paying good money and trusting a major grocery store, this experience completely broke that trust. I shop expecting fresh and safe food, not something that smells like it’s been sitting for days past its expiration. Quality control has clearly failed here. Because of this experience, I will never shop at Jewel-Osco again. I will also be warning others to be careful, because no one should have to deal with spoiled meat like this. Absolutely unacceptable.

Today the order was more than 2 1/3 hours late, after spending a great deal of time on the phone (with overseas reps whom I could neither properly hear due to shouting in the background nor understand) and being given contradictory explanations I cancelled the order. I was told that a) the refund for the groceries they never delivered would take 7 days b) they will not give me back my money for the Fresh Pass membership because I placed an order this year--that is, an order placed on 1-3-26 that was never delivered. So joke is on me--they plan to keep my money for doing nothing. I highly recommend no one use this delivery service, it is a scam

When the older white lady at the deli forced the other lady to take a white man before me. She continued tried to argue with me even though I was clearly there first. I will never come back.
