Love the atmosphere and excitement server Meghan provided this was our first time here even I'm not from the area I live on hour away but I will be coming back.
- BBBillApr 12, 20264.0This was our first visit as we were in the area for an event at Fort Sheridan. First, all of our food was wonderfully delicious. The salads, wraps, burgers, and fish. Right temperature, correctly cooked, and well presented. It was busy when arrived around 1:30 and parking was a serious premium. Our service was friendly and slow. We waited nearly 40 minutes for our food and I did not receive my appetizer even though the server asked if I wanted it first. I simply asked to have it canceled after I received my entrees. Overall though, we ate well and enjoyed a fine meal. Would have really liked to try the devil eggs. You dont see those as an item often.

- RLRobert LApr 5, 20264.0I came back with a date after having a wonderful experience a couple months ago when dining with my daughter. Unfortunately things didn't go as well. The appetizer selected was something of a dry filo dough pastry that lacked much flavor or texture. The entrees were good, just not as really good as the first time. We ordered the meal that includes a desert, which was a highlight previously. This time the brownie was more like a chocolate crispy cracker and the banana pudding was very generic. We did not have the pudding the first time so thought we would try it. I still like the place and will return. I'm just no where as enthusiastic now as I was before. If you look forward to the desert, be sure to ask that the brownie be soft and warm.
