Two weeks ago, my husband bought a burger from this place, and we found a melted piece of plastic inside the lettuce. I called the next day to report it. Instead of showing concern or apologizing, the manager only asked if we had a receipt. I said we didn’t, but I could show the credit card transaction. He said okay and told me to come by anytime for a replacement burger. When I went in today, Altro came out looking very annoyed — no “sorry,” no “are you okay.” The first thing he asked was again if I had a receipt or order number. When I explained that I had spoken to him two weeks ago, he said, “Oh, that was me,” and then told me rudely, “We don’t give out free food without proof.” This restaurant put plastic in my food and instead of apologizing or showing any empathy, they treated me like a scammer. Truly the worst place to eat — completely disrespectful to customers.
