    Ordered the cobb salad with nugget s. Got a sliced up breast. Harldy any cheese or other toppings... Slightly disappointed. Service was excellent.

    Great food and consistently reliable — the magic of Portillo’s is still intact. The Italian beef can’t be beat; cheese fries are the perfect guilty pleasure; and the original Chicago dog is everything you want. All delivered in paper-wrapped morsels of love. Convenient, inviting, and always a trusted respite from the world. Five stars.

    I’ve been coming to this Portillos location for years but Gina T. & Alyssa at the drive thru really showed amazing service! I appreciated how kind they were about the line and the fact that both of them were so positive and working hard despite the cold weather. Major shoutout!!

    Went here tonight for dinner with some friends. Guy at the register was nice but forgot to add a few things. Waited 20 minutes for our food. Im not sure if he was some sort of manager but he was dressed differently than the other workers. He Decided to argue and get condescending with me when I brought up the missing food, which i didnt realize wasn't on the receipt until then, and having to wait 20 minutes. Terrible customer service. So I had to get back in line and wait another 10 minutes for a milkshake. Onto the food. Food (burgers and hot dogs) looked like it was literally thrown together just well enough to package it. Fries were awful. Just an all around bad experience. I worked in the service and food industry for years and been to plenty of other portillos and I wouldnt go here again if it was the last one on earth. Do better.

    I stopped in for my Saturday treat and it was a very cold day...very cold! To my surprise, there were people outside taking orders. I disagree with this!! Come on guys! Unless there have heated suits and shoes and gloves, they have no business out there. Even then, their faces would be cold. Take a hint from the chicken people. They are outside, but in little booths, with heat! They have fans in the summer. Most people who work need jobs so they might be willing to do any numbers of things to feed themselves and their families. While the owners are sitting back collecting money at the expense of these workers, it would be nice to do something to protect them! (Stepping down from my soapbox) I had a tamale chili boat. A tamale in a bowl of chili. IYKYK! It was quite delish!
