Within your walls, I did not merely dine—I embarked upon a quest. A pilgrimage of pizza, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and dessert pizza so sweet it defied all known nutritional science. I returned to the buffet line not once, not twice, but as many times as the human spirit allowed. Each plate was a declaration of independence from portion control. Each bite, a reminder that restraint is optional and joy is mandatory. The fried chicken—crispy, golden, and dangerously easy to underestimate—stood bravely beside the pizza, forming an alliance unmatched in modern cuisine. And then… the dessert pizza. A creation so bold, so unapologetic, it laughed in the face of balance and whispered, “One more slice.” I listened. Every time. Pizza Ranch Buffet, you were not just a restaurant.   They have the best tasting fried Chicken in town! Also, so many pizza choices on the buffet.

  The food was delicious. One of the workers there was especially helpful. There was a food I wanted that was not out, and he made it for me. He remembered who I was and where I was sitting and even brought it to my table. The pizzas we ordered at the front when we paid were brought out very promptly. Our dishes were also cleared in a timely manner. Bathrooms were also clean. Definitely plan to visit again!

  Could be a fun option for families, especially stuck living in the middle of nowhere with everything an hour away! We’ve been three times and while the first experience was fine, it went downhill for us rapidly. We go for the arcade, not the food lol. Second time several games were broken, which significantly impacts how much fun can be had in a small arcade. Next trip about six months later (Fall ‘25) and not only are they still out of order, several more are broken. We also had to walk around the kitchen searching for staff to check in, after waiting ten minutes at the counter. Then we had the added bonus of hair in the marinara. Extremely disgusting, and nobody seemed to care beyond the $5 game card they randomly walked over and handed us. To use in an arcade with only a few functional games…. My son is too young to go with friends so I’m stuck paying full price for a buffet to eat 1-2 tiny pizza slices at most, but I’m sure that’s company policy and it just is what it is. Of course paying for hair-free edible food would make that aspect less frustrating! We didn’t end up eating last time after scooping up the hair and seeing the subsequent lack of surprise and/or concern from the staff, so it was a very overpriced disappointment. Fingers crossed it’ll be managed better at some point because if so, it could be a great option for kids in winter!

  1, the food aweful... if you can even call it that!! They charge over $18 per person just to have hardly any food, no tea, no ice cream, and the salad bar looked like it was looted and never re filled... these reviews have to be fake... this IS NOT WORTH $18+ A PERSON... it was so aweful we had to leave, unsatisfied, and STILL HUNGRY... DO NOT GO TO PIZZA RANCH IN STERLING IL... the owners need to UNDERSTAND that WE ARE NOT RATS... we EXPECT a decent meal for what you are charging...
