  I really would love to be able to shop at my local Jewel. Today chalks up more than a handful of times I grabbed my cart, ready to get all my groceries, but had to stop after looking through the produce department and return my cart to go do my shopping at Fresh Thyme. Today on my list was cuties oranges. Every bag I picked up had oranges that were so soft and beginning to rot that my fingers almost pierced the fruit. Again, this is definitely not a one off incident. So many times I've left because the produce is near rotting, or rotting on the shelves. If this is something that could be fixed and improved upon, I'd love to do all my shopping there.

  The Deli is a joke they had hard salami on sale a couple week ago waited 5 minutes to be waited on and all she said was iron the car over there . These prepackaged meats were not even a pound . I then came multiple times same wait and it’s like they do not want to wait on the customer. This past Sunday a kid with curly hair had a attitude and I waiting 10 minutes and four people behind the deli counter to be acknowledged and I wanted 8 pc fried 8 pc grilled and a bucket of wings. After saying 8 pc fried he just walked away got the chicken and did not get the rest of the order I talk to the manager in charge who was in a turkey costume and listen to me but never help me get the dam chicken this place is a joke and is going down hill since the old store director left

  I visited this location expecting a quick checkout through the express lane, but ended up waiting over 15 minutes just to purchase a 0% non-alcoholic beer. The delay was entirely due to confusion over my valid, state-issued temporary ID. It took three different employees to review it, and none seemed confident or trained on how to handle it. What’s more frustrating is that I was told this location doesn’t scan IDs for verification, unlike other stores like the Jewel in Naperville/Aurora, where scanning a temp ID is standard and seamless. If you’re going to sell age-restricted items, even non-alcoholic ones, your team should be trained to recognize and validate all forms of legal identification, including temporary ones issued by the state. This experience was unnecessarily time consuming and embarrassing. I hope management takes this as a cue to better train staff and equip them with the tools needed to serve customers efficiently and respectfully.
