  Do yourself a favor and don’t even go here. I stopped going to this establish six months ago because every time I go in I have somebody rude and always trying to argue. I had one individual get mad at me for staying in the term sandwich and I have another gentleman that always wore a black mask and a heavy set who is always rude and goes above and beyond being rude. At one point, he started getting very mouthy with my 13 year old at the time sister who is very soft spoken who was working the courage up to order her food for once because she is shy, he shut that down quick. Six months later I go in there hoping that everyone’s gone and it’s a new fresh people. Nope same exact guy same exact experience and had the audacity to ask for a tip. Whoever is running, the subway needs to reevaluate their staff. I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a Sandwich shop. Just go to Monty’s at that point they always accept everybody and wants to have a conversation.

  Legitimately could not be more unhappy about our experience at this store. The man working was rude from first greeting. I had a friend visiting from out of town and chose to bring my computer to work as we ate because as a teacher and graduate student I do not get out much. I set down my bag upon entering and then approached the counter to order. As we were approaching the counter he asked if my bag was a purse and I explained the situation to him. He then asked as we were going to be eating, like we weren't actively approaching the counter to order. He was short with both of us as we were ordering, and went as far as suggesting that I was lying about being a teacher. While we were waiting for sandwiches to be toasted, another customer came in after placing an online order. The employees told him it had not come through on their end so there was nothing they could do. He tried to show the confirmation and the charge from his account only to be told by the same man that he would not be helping to resolve the concern. After we received our meals, we sat and I opened my laptop to connect to my phones Hotspot. He then asked if I was "really going to work on teacher stuff" there. I said yes that its hard to get a break. He proceeded to sigh and ask if I was using my own wifi for it which, as previously mentioned, I was. I assured him that I was and returned to my conversation. He then engaged in a conversation with the other employee about the other customer who had left with no resolution, very loudly and right in front of us. As someone who has worked in food service for years, who continues to bartend and waitress as part time jobs in addition to teaching and my classes, I always try to give people working in the service industry the benefit of the doubt because working with people is challenging. However, the behavior that I saw today was truly despicable, and upon looking at Google reviews it is not a new issue. It should be absolutely unacceptable to conduct yourself the way I saw this man do today, especially in your place of employment. I truly hope this is addressed because it is going to drive business away from this store, as seen in previous Google reviews.
