Food is usually pretty good, but every time I come in here I'm greeted with a stare as if I've wandered into somewhere I'm not supposed to be. The greeting is more of a "why are you here?" feeling as opposed to a "thank you for choosing our business" feeling.

Saputo’s never misses. We used to come here all the time, and somehow it’s still just as good—if not better. The food? Incredible. The kind you keep talking about the next day. The service? Top-notch. Ask for Zack—trust me. Easily the best meal we’ve had in a long time.

That’sss what I’m talking about! Straight out of the North end or north beach in San Francisco. Really amazing italian fare with all the fixings and wonderful, kind and attentive service. We had the pork chop and homemade ravioli and both were superb. We will be back!

Nice place near the BOS Center. Our waitress was Payton and she was fantastic: her demeanor, her attentiveness, and overall service. The food was delicious and prices were fair. I had the baked lasagna and there was so much cheese - loved it. Our table also ordered the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and the Spinach Alfredo. Both delicious and plentiful. I would recommend this place if you ever visit Springfield.

Saputos, once great, now only a good restaurant. Restaurants face many challenges, including rising food costs, labor increases, and overhead. The result, in evidence here is smaller portions at big prices, perhaps understandable, but disappointing. Our favorite dish, hand breaded shrimp scampi, in the past included 5 #8 shrimp served in a delicious garlic butter sauce. Now, 4 #12 shrimp (smaller) are widely spaced on the metal dish, served sizzling hot. The included salad was lifeless, and the dressing, once a combination of red wine vinegar and olive oil seems to be from a store-bought bottle. The desserts including a cannoli, spumoni, peppermint ice cream and chocolate cake (not homemade) were all very good. We will continue to be a customer but will broaden our horizons and try some other Italian restaurants in the area, something we would have never considered before.
