Over the years we have shopped many different Jewel stores in Chicago and suburbs. After recently shopping at the great stores in Antioch and Libertyville, we realize how disappointing our local store in Spring Grove IL has become. There seems to be more shopping carts stored outside in the snow than inside the store. Both Antioch and Libertyville have wider selections and far more fresh food options than Spring Grove. In addition, when shopping at Spring Grove you are constantly dodging empty merchandise carts placed by Jewel employees (WHY?), palettes of merchandise blocking aisles (not on shelves), and Jewel employees racing to fill online orders. At 2:15 when checking out there were 3 checkout lines with cashiers but no baggers... The Jewel store in Spring Grove seems to be totally disorganized with major management issues.

Nowhere did it say that in the add. I called and talked to a lady at the service desk and she was rude. I heard her then tell the manager that the he could deal with me. Little did she know that she didn't put me on hold and I could hear her talking about our conversation and was rude. The manager name was Miguel and he was also was rude about the issue. I asked for the lady's name and he refused to give to me. He then said to look on the receipt for the number for corporate. Wow great customer service jewel. Hopefully this company gets sold to a better corporation that cares.
