- AAAliceNov 30, 20255.0I hope that the manager of the Jewel South Chicago Heights reads this review. I want to compliment Heather the Associate Manager at the front desk. On a day (Sunday, November 30, 4:45pm) when the registers were going in and out and a holiday weekend, she manages to be pleasant and attentive to customer problems. However the other young woman at the desk was rude and incapable of attempting to solve price discrepancies. It is rare these days to find people who actually care about the customer experience so Heather was a nice exception. I would suggest that the store keep up with the sale signs so we are not paying the wrong price for items and separate items that aren’t on sale from those that are. Heather actually went with me to check the prices, she removed the outdated signs and moldy bread and gave me the sale price! The other young lady went to look at the signs and left them there prior to Heather assisting me! Ridiculous and lazy on the other desk worker, I would suggest that she be moved to a less customer service area as she apparently doesn’t realize that without the customer there would be no need for her services! I wish I remembered her name! Heather for employee of the month!
