  Maybe because it was about 7 PM, the help had all gone home, and the place was absolutely filthy. Paper and food on the floor, garbage full to overflowing, beverages being emptied although there were still two hours before it closed. Maybe a staffing problem, but truly embarrassing. I had an international visitor and they had raised eyebrows.

  My mom, my son, and I enjoyed a lovely lunch at this location of Panera Bread. We ordered our usual favorites—warm toasted sandwiches, a refreshing tropical green smoothie, creamy macaroni and cheese, and an M&M cookie for a sweet finish. Everything came out just as expected. The environment was especially nice for a weekend —clean, calm, and peaceful—making it a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy a relaxed meal together.

  The food was good, but I asked by register desk for recipe. This is ,what I got. No itemized bill, so I do not know ,what charges are ?!!!!

  Honestly the most organized, fast, clean and airy and sunny Panera around. I have sip membership and I parked myself at this Skokie Panera for the most day when I work from home. I over hear some of the most genuine conversations from people who gather here to meet friends regularly. There tend to be a lot of senior and influential retirees there talking about important topics if you listen and watch people. It’s such a great “third” place for me and many. Thank you store managers for running such tight ship. Every employee there is always helpful and courteous and smiling. It makes it very easy to want to be surrounded yourself here when you just want to put your heads down and keep the coffee flowing…
