  I have grown up on Portillo’s and I don’t live in the area but the idea of a pickup only restaurant didn’t sit right with me. Portillo’s has always been an experience as well as a dinner but this location was a (for lack of better words), an Uber Eats or DoorDash style restaurant. I took a friend for his first time and was very disappointed to find out the type of store this was. Maybe just add pick up only on Google Maps. Otherwise. Still the same GREAT food!

  Tonight we had AWESOME service from the manager there, Cassandra. We go to this location frequently and always have good service. Today there was a bit of a technical glitch. She came out right away. She was customer focused. She was calm. She was... What ALL business should strive to have when it comes to management.. Calm, cool and collective when faced with difficulties. Because of her, I'm writing this review tonight. Thank you, Cassandra.

  Sunday, April 12, 2026 I visited Portillos restaurant in Shorewood Illinois with friends because they serve the best burgers in town, setting a new standard for flavor and quality. Every patty is cooked to perfection, ensuring a juicy experience in every single bite. You can easily elevate your meal by adding their delicious, crispy bacon for an extra savory kick. Absolutely delicious❣️ The balance of the fresh toppings and the toasted bun is absolutely exceptional. It is truly a burger lover's dream come true for anyone in the area. I was incredibly impressed by the consistent quality and friendly service provided during my visit. You certainly do not want to sleep on this. Even if you have high expectations, this place manages to exceed them with ease. I will definitely be coming back again soon to satisfy my cravings. It is easily the top spot in town for anyone seeking a mouthwatering burger experience. In fact, make it a double with bacon 🥓!

  This place is very bad at making sure you have all your food in the bag when you go through the drive-thru. It makes it even worse when you get home and your missing half your food. Then it's just the inconvenience to go all the way back to get the missing food. CHECK YOUR BAG BEFORE LEAVING THE DRIVE-THRU!!!!!
