  We always use coupons and they have always been accepted. The bread, meat, cheese, and toppings always fresh. The staff is always courteous and consistent in assembling subs. They must be well trained, and I credit that to the manager/owner

  I was there today with my three children to get the special they had 6 inch sub sandwich for free. I heard about the deal on the news. So my children and I went to get the free sandwiches and the cashier there said that you can only get one sandwich per family. I was wondering how could you eat a 6-in sub sandwich when you have children 13, 12 and 10 years old. And on the news it did not say one sandwich per family when. At the subway in Shorewood Illinois. It was a Caucasian man and his two little daughters had order the 6-in deal for free I was standing there I did not see him give the cashier any money. I am an African-American she told me that I have to get one sandwich for the family of four I fell I was discriminated against. I will not go to that Subway again and if you are African-American please think twice before you go to the subway in Shorewood Illinois I noticed the difference between that Subway and the other Subway down the street the one is Shorewood Illinois the people in there is prejudice the one down the street on essington road in Joliet they are not prejudice. They need to hire people that's not prejudice that thinks about the customer need instead of the customer skin color.

  Very unfriendly employees is the 1st impression. I always order the Philly at other subways and they are great. I just ordered two from the Subway in Shorewood and it was awful. They have a great picture on the window and it's a very far cry to what you get. They hardly put any meat on the sandwich and the cheese was actually laughable. They give you 4 slices of cheese that was cut so thin you could see through it. Also, the first two pieces had turned color and were dried out, but they put them on anyway. I did ask them to replace at least one of them. After heating there was no sign of cheese and no tasting of any. Their prices are much higher than the Subway's in Joliet. I'd go the little extra distance to the one on Esssington. They did pile the green pepper and onion on it; I guess to make it look like it was worth the 12+ dollars.
