Never disappointed. Beef is our favorite. Cheese for the fries is really good. Little pricey so it’s not a place we go to very often.

I gave the atmosphere 3 because although there is plenty of seating if you prefer an intimate or quiet space you really have to come during non-peak hours. If you have issues with social interaction this environment altogether will be overwhelming for you.

Writing a review just to say something. Been going here for years. Lately the service is awful when getting your order. Always missing something. Seems like the employees have a hard time reading and putting orders in a bag. Not what it used to be

First, food: four stars for consistently nailing chopped salads, Chicago dawgs, Italian beefs, and juicy burgers. The chopped salad is a lean, yet protein-rich choice that is tastefully savory when topped off with house dressing. My kids like to dip fries in the cheese sauce. Four stars for service because crew members with cheery attitudes call out order number with playful jingles like, "order 29, time to dine" or "order 44, wait no more." Way to have fun with it! Five star atmosphere because this location's interior decor pays place-specific homage to the roaring 1920s. A careful eye will catch details true to the prohibition era. There's a near life-size diorama depicting Chicago's infamous history of organized crime (see photo). This nod to the mob is located above the restaurant's entrance. Don't worry 'bout it. Bright glowing neons and decals of 1930s car culture give the atmosphere a distinctive Chicagoland feel in an era of empty, corporate, placeless nothingness typified by most major fast food chains nowadays. Clean restrooms with baby changing stations for dads and moms, an iconic revolving door, and a well-supplied condiment island garner five golden atmospheric stars.
