  This place is usually spot on but yesterday 12/20/25 was far from this. Woman behind the counter that was at first in the back with others having the time of their lives, yapping away seemed surprised that customers were coming in to spend sorry waste their money. Couple of other employees were still having good ole time. Ordered blimey limey and not sure when peanut butter was added to this smoothie but it was with ours and a mango monsoon, which seemed to be the correct ingredients but was not smoothie consistency and full of chunks of ice and mangos. I understand that getting back to your fellow employees is top priority while at work when you should be attentive to what you are making and ensuring it is done correctly. Not sure if was just a very off day but was a complete waste of money from my perspective as the paying customer.

  I’m a regular customer who visits Tropical Smoothie Café during my lunch break Monday–Friday, and I usually order through the app to save time. Lately, I’ve been really disappointed with the consistency and quality of my smoothies. My sister and I order the exact same smoothie, the only difference is that I ask for mine without banana—and as you can see in the photo below, the texture of mine is completely off compared to hers. Instead of a smooth blend, I keep receiving something closer to a chunky slushie filled with ice and chocolate. It’s so thick you can’t even sip it, and that’s not what I’m paying for. On top of that, the smoothies are often not filled to the top, which is frustrating. For almost $11, both the taste and the portion should be right. If I wanted a smaller size, I would’ve ordered one. The customer service also needs improvement. Staff members often stay in the back instead of greeting customers or addressing mistakes. As someone who comes in daily, it’s disappointing to feel ignored rather than appreciated. I hope these issues can be addressed because I genuinely enjoy this café, but the quality and service need attention.
