  A much nicer jewel than the jewel that is about a mile north of this location. Much more modern and better stocked and more bright and better merchandising.

  Visit today. Grab a cart from a worker who was bringing it back into store. He only had one cart I said I’ll take that. He rolled his eyes and acted weird like he was mad. On to pharmacy no one in line went to counter lady was at counter on computer didn’t acknowledge me for five minutes meanwhile 5 other workers were there too no acknowledgement at all finally a tall aa woman angrily said can I help you. No smile whatsoever which is typical in this store On to deli counter. Total chaos as usual. Couldn’t even understand the woman who was waiting on me. I asked for a little less than half a lb she gave me shot 1/3. I just moved to the area and every time I go here it’s frustrating and not a pleasant experience. Only person who was helpful was older woman at self checkout.

  If you're near by go to the Addison or Hoffman estates location this one has terrible customer service. Over the summer I had a big basket so I went through check out. I tapped my card twice cashier keeps saying it's saying not authorized. I have no idea what that means especially since it not saying declined. He tells me step aside and go call my bank. I told him I don't need to call my bank I'm certain it isn't my card and asked if there was a way to manually put in my card. He responds with eyes rolls and huffs as if I'm irritating him so I asked to try again this time I inserted my card rather than tap and just like magic it goes through. So turns out it was Jewel's machine and not a problem with bank. Of course no apologies were made by him however the gentleman bagging my groceries did apologize on his behalf stating sorry he gets frustrated during busy times. It's a grocery store if you can't handle business go outside and do the baskets where you won't be bothered. Two weeks ago I stop in I used self check out. Of course we've all had issues using those. I turn to see a worker passing by I politely say excuse me can you help me; we make eye contact and he keeps walking past me still look at me. I hit cancel on the item and just processed without it. I'm not going to beg for attention when using my hard earned money. I told myself I wouldn't be back after being deliberately ignored. I guess I lied to myself because today I stopped in just for fruit. Instant regret! Couldnt find any strawberries so I went to someone near the bananas to ask yet again I say excuse me he never turns around I said again a little louder thinking maybe he didn't hear me and nope still doesn't turn around. I go to the next women I see she says she's doesn't know and points to another man telling me to ask him. I go over says excuse me do you have any strawberries? While actively walking past me with no eye contact harshly says no we do not. Absolutely ridiculous. I will be contacting corporate. Your team needs to be reeducated on customer service skills. Groceries are too expensive these days to come in the store and be mistreated. Jewel is certainly not the only store in town. This location has forever lost my business I will be sure to spread the word to my friends and neighbors in roselle. P.S. I live right around the corner which is why I visited so frequently in all my visits the only one that seems to have some sense and excellent customer service skills is Michelina. I hope I spelled her name correctly.
