The absolute worst pizza buffet in the USA. The women who work here are incredibly rude and condescending. I told them I didn’t like the food and asked for a refund, but the manager on duty would only refund one buffet because their argument was that I already eaten. I tried to explain to her that the only way to know if I liked the food was to try it, but she wasn’t comprehending that concept. I am on vacation and it isn’t my job to teach teenagers what good customer service is. $19 plus tax for one adult buffet is highway robbery.
The employees were doing a terrible job of restocking the pizza buffet, but had tons of pizzas idling in the waiting area. There is no reason anyone should have to wait 30+ minutes for a cheese pizza to make its way to the hot bar. I asked them to make me a cheese pizza after waiting for a good 25-30 minutes and it was disgusting. She told me it would take 5 minutes, but in reality it took 15-20 minutes on top of the 25-30 minutes I waited to see if any cheese pizzas would make their way on the buffet. It was drowning in sauce and looked like a 3rd grader made it, which is why I requested a full refund. I gave them multiple opportunities to make things right. All of the employees here are very rude. The only person who was doing a great job is the busboy. Give that man a raise for being such a hard worker.
UPDATE: I spoke to Felicia today and she refused to make things right, deciding to argue in favor of her employees instead. This chain doesn’t care about their customers at all. Some of the rudest people I have ever dealt with in my life.

An acceptable buffet.
Fried chicken and potatoes are excellent! Salads (2 different kinds) are good. Pizza is plentiful. Chicken strips were OK (if you're a kid).
Deep-dish chocolate chip cookie is great (especially with soft serve) as is the apple pie thing (not really sure what to call it but it was good 😁).
We did not partake of the games but (other people's) kids seemed to enjoy themselves.

I went here today with my family and we enjoyed our experience, mainly because of the manager on duty. We had never been to a Pizza Ranch, so I wasn't familiar with the way the restaurant worked. We took our 17 year old who wanted to go to the FunZone. Our cashier sold us three buffets, one with a $30 card for the FunZone. Unfortunately I didn't ask for a receipt and when I asked where to get the card, she told me the FunZone, but I got bounced around more than I found necessary by going to the FunZone where there were no employees at the time and only machines to buy cards. Another cashier wanted me to pull up my bank app and tell her what amount we paid. (Honestly, the best thing this restaurant could do to remedy this problem is to find a way to keep and activate cards at the register or not "advertise" it at the entrance as part of the menu and direct people to purchase it at the Fun Zone.)
I think the manager suspected my annoyance and proceeded to let us know where things were, available options for food and drinks, etc. I don't know if the place was understaffed or badly staffed but he was doing all the floor work.
At the end of my meal, I asked my 17 year old where he got the chocolate chip cookie slice, since I had not seen them either time I went to the buffet. (Oddly enough there were two other dessert pizzas and a pepperoni pizza in the desserts; I figured with this kind of "error" the cookie pizza could have been anywhere!) Their manager overheard and brought me a slice about 5 minutes later. If anything do not sleep on this---the chocolate chip cookie is DIVINE with the soft serve available.
The pizza is better than most buffet style pizza, and they will make a specialty one for you if you ask and they will give you a buzzer for when it's ready. They leave those on the buffet but you get first dibs on it, which was nice.
If it seems like a harsh review with good ratings, the place was very clean. I didn't visit the restroom but the dining area, buffet, and FunZone were all in tiptop shape. I don't know if the kids working there were hung over (it was a Saturday lunch), they weren't trained well enough, but it could possibly dissuade some people from returning. We plan to try the place again in a week or two.
