  I have celiac disease and this place has a dedicated fryer for the french fries. I was able to eat a burger and my husband ordered me a hotdog to taste because I haven’t had a hotdog in eight years. This place brings back childhood memories of typical fast food burger joint… you won’t be disappointed. They also have gluten-free desserts! Haven’t had one yet but now you know 🙂

  Loyal costumer!!! I travel a couple times a month with my hubby from Des Plaines for a Philly, fresh cut fries with a side of ranch. It's our guilty pleasure. Staff is always friendly and food is always hot and flavorful. We love the Doctor!!!! We have also had the chicken sandwich, cheese curds, pizza puff, gyro, and everything has been great, but the Philly holds our heart.

  I’m in love. I was diagnosed with celiac disease about 18 months ago so there’s a lot of stuff I have to avoid when ordering food from out. Last week, I was eating dinner at home and researching some Gluten Free options near me and that’s when I discovered Doctor Dogs. I go to Italian pizza kitchen often down the block, but never heard of this place. Today for lunch, I told my wife we must try it, and I’m glad I did. I was able to get fries cooked in a separate fryer, and a chicken sandwich on a gf bun. I would rate my food a solid 9/10. Everything was great, and was still hot on our 8 minute drive home. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and takes allergies seriously. Huge kudos to them. Not many places care about gluten free care as much as these guys do. The Mrs. Behind the counter even let my wife know they have gluten free brownies. As much as I wanted it, I didn’t want to overate 😅 My wife was in there for 10-15 minutes waiting for our food as they were busy, and she heard “gluten free” maybe 10 times. I’m glad the community supports such business that also tries their best to support us. I wish more restaurants cared about the 1% that can’t eat gluten 😁 Until next time ✌🏼

  One of our absolute favorite local hotdog places. Best gyros and hotdogs and fries around.

  I can't remember the last my kids liked food as much as they liked our lunch at Doctor Dogs. My kids are so picky about hot dogs especially but they DEVOURED these and asked for a second round. Fries were great and staff was so kind about our chaos. We'll be back for sure!
