WHERE'S THE COOKIE?! First off, let me say I've been to numerous Pizza Ranch locations and have left reviews for most of them to remember if they're worth revisiting, so I'm comparing this one with others. This is my local Pizza Ranch so I've visited this location more times than any other location because it's conveniently close to home but I haven't left a review yet. I'm giving five stars because of the fact it's endless comfort food. The price is pretty average for Pizza Ranch, $17.50 after tax for lunch. The size of the buffet itself is smaller than most other locations but there's no arcade so probably fewer birthday parties for kids to accommodate, not a big deal at all, they're usually attentive and keep it stocked. However, this is the ONLY Pizza Ranch I've been to that never has the chocolate chip cookie on the buffet. I've easily been here dozens of times and have only seen a single slice of it and I'm guessing that was a cancelled pickup order. Why on earth are they bogarting the cookies? Now, you may be sitting there saying "well with buffet your way you can request the cookie" but no one should need to request the cookie. The cookie comes standard at literally all other locations. Verona, Sun Prairie, Bettendorf, Shorewood and Sterling all keep 2-5 cookies out on the buffet available at all times but here in Roscoe it's shielded from the masses! Protected like a precious jewel. During my last visit I heard two other customers ask where the cookie was and I'm sure they've been to some other PR where they share their cookies but not in this town. This Pizza Ranch quite literally has a designated dessert section to the right of the soft serve machine (see photo) that sits vacant most of the time. I understand it's probably used when the place is busier but even when it's not busy, like today, there was clearly a spot for the tasty cookie but the spot remained empty (see other picture). Is it the owner of this franchise who refuses to share the cookie? The people want it but can't have it. It'd be like if Golden Corral didn't put out Bourbon Street Chicken or their famous carrot cake. Many Pizza Ranch advertisements feature pictures of the cherished, chewy cookie. Being that this is a buffet that also offers pickup and carry out I don't think it's unreasonable to expect to see some cookie out on the buffet. That's all. Hopefully they find it in their hearts to share their cookies with the fine people of Roscoe, Illinois.

This place is dirty, no food out , staff rude, no dessert out and asked if they was going to put out fresh food soon and they said no cause they close in a hour. So not good for a restaurant to say that. Should’ve just got a refund as soon as we seen the salad bar and hot food area .

Wanted something to eat, but wasn't sure what I wanted. I remembered this place and they didn't disappoint. The food was really good, and I like the variety.

Went for lunch. No food was out when we arrived. Tables were filthy, there was food on the floor. One employee was very creepy, watching our every move, and that was before we even got our food. We put the dirty plates on another table, so we had room at the table, and the employee would give dirty looks as soon as he grabbed the dirty plates. Food took forever to get out. Chicken was greasy. Dirt on woodwork next to the tables. Salad wasn't a good selection and the lettuce is brown. Total waste of money.

This is 3rd visit to this location in the past year and I can not believe how far it has fallen even in that time. This was a regular location for myself and my family for the last 15ish years. I normally wait to write reviews after a few bad experiences because I understand that people have bad days. For that there is grace. This is the third time in the last year that I have been extremely disappointed. The food areas are unclean and never full. Even if you request or ask the employees for any help they act like you are bothering them too much. We waited well over an hour for the basic foods to be stocked. How is there no pizza for over an hour at a pizza ranch? There is one saving grace of this situation, and all the times before….. Blueberry dessert pizza Worth the wait every time, basically worth the price of admission. However, it’s not enough. Without the beloved blueberry dessert pizza this would be a zero star review. For blueberry dessert pizza… it’s a two. On a side note the other customers in the restaurant are mean and will push you out of the way. I saw my grandmother almost lose her life over one piece of chicken. I understand the restaurant cannot control this but it was worth the note.
