There were four elderly customers who were told they had to use the self-serve kiosk because staff were “too busy” to take their order. They hesitated and clearly weren’t comfortable with that option, and instead of helping them, the employee told them they would “need to learn to adapt.” They ended up leaving without ordering. A kiosk should be an option, not the only option. When I spoke up and said seniors shouldn’t be forced to use the kiosk, the employee became defensive and rude instead of being respectful or helpful. To top it off, when my food was ready (marked dine-in), she tossed my bag onto the counter without calling my name or showing any basic courtesy, even though other customers were still waiting. Disrespectful from start to finish. I won’t be returning.
