  I drive 20min out of my way to come to this jewel because I love their floral options and today I was falsely accused of stealing and not paying?? This old man working today march 29th at 9pm rudely asked for my receipt and raised his voice at me In front of other people making it seem like I didn’t pay.. I showed him my receipt and he said “ oh I just didn’t see you scanned for all those flowers” when I only had 1 dozen roses and 3 mixed from 3 for $15 I’m disappointed and honestly won’t come back to this jewel I have one right by my house 3min away and I come all this way for this?

  The deli counter is terrible here. There is always a line, 3 people behind the counter and only 1 helping people.

  Usually has what I need in stock. Using the app that says what aisle the items are in is a life saver. Wish the deals and sale items were auto applied when entering a phone number as I don’t have time to scroll 500 deals to see what applies.

  I’m a frequent customer at this Jewel-Osco and often check the Pokémon vending machine located in the store. I know the machine releases product on a timer, so sometimes I’ll check it while I’m doing my shopping or stop in briefly to see if anything new has been stocked. Lately, I’ve had an ongoing issue with a middle aged woman who works in the flower department. Several times when I’ve come in, she has made snide comments under her breath and has occasionally walked up near me while mumbling remarks. This hasn’t just happened once, it’s been a repeated issue, and I find it disrespectful. I also looked into it and learned that Jewel-Osco doesn’t actually own the Pokémon vending machines, the company that operates them rents the space inside the store. Because of that, I’m not sure why checking the machine seems to be a problem.

  Why are shelves not stocked when they are open for business? I generally shop between 7a and 8am and shelves are consistently empty. I have started leaving with 2-3 rain checks a week and I can’t even use them in the allotted time because they never have anything in stock. Don’t open at 6 if you have no intention of being ready for business. I have been a loyal customer for over twenty years at this jewel and I am now shopping elsewhere due to the inability to actually get the items on sale.
