Last time I'll be shopping here. Store has gone down quite a lot. Store is dirty and smelly. Meat dept is way overpriced and subpar items.

I want to call out a specific employee, this gentleman named Kelly was in produce today not sure if that’s his spot usually but he is such an awesome employee and kind human who goes the extra mile to help customers. My 3 year old daughter decided she wanted an apple as a treat today (they are her favorite snack lol) and he helped her pick the “perfect apple” today and helped her bag it all by herself like a big girl and it’s all she could talk about the rest of the day. Thank you Kelly!

0 stars -I visited the butcher department at Jewel-Osco on the first day of a popular sale to purchase a sale item. When I arrived, there was only one package left, and it was open and clearly spoiled — which is likely why it had been left there. There was also a line of other customers waiting for the same advertised item. When an employee came to check the area, I politely asked if there were any more of the item available. Instead of receiving a professional response, the employee replied, “Have any more what?” in a dismissive tone, then turned her back and walked away. As she walked away, she stated with noticeable attitude that she was “working on it,” as if I was supposed to already know that. I asked a simple and respectful question. As a customer, I expect basic courtesy and professionalism, especially on the first day of a promoted sale when higher demand should be anticipated. Sale items should be adequately stocked, or at minimum, staff should communicate clearly and respectfully with customers. This experience was disappointing after visiting this store over 15 years due to both the lack of product availability and the employee’s unprofessional attitude. I hope management addresses both inventory preparedness for advertised sales and customer service expectations moving forward.

I needed this to get noticed. Barb, you almost hit that other employee with the cart. Yes, he might have been wrong but the point is you, as someone older and with more experience, need to learn to temper your anger. You've got decades on him. He said he wasn't able to clean up the spill on his own and whatever made you so mad, you need to walk away, take deep breaths and come back with this as a teachable moment. I also suggest talking with your doctor about medication. I used to be as angry as you and I found medication helped immensely. You need to get a hold of this before you actually assault someone and really regret your actions. Also, you incessantly calling the guy at the service desk helping a customer shows your lack of impulse control. Is everything about you?
